Frequently Asked Questions

What results can I expect?

This is a progressive course and everyone moves through it at different paces. This exercise routine will strengthen every major muscle group in your body, help you reduce your body fat percentage, promote good posture, give you the knowledge and confidence to create your own workouts in the future and move onto further progression. The more seriously you take it, and the more commitment that you give it, the better results you will achieve! We want you to be the next fitness success story, so if you have any issues on your journey, we are just a message away!

Do the lessons need weights and equipment?

You will need a set of exercise bands and an exercise ball. We believe that if you are remotely interested in weight loss and fitness that you should invest in these pieces of exercise equipment. They are reasonably inexpensive and if you know how to use them, you will own your own gym that fits in a draw or hangs on the back of a door!

How much time commitment is there?

If you are fully committed and want to train every day, the maximum amount of time is around 1 hour per day. But you can follow the course at a slower pace and you can also choose to tailor your exercise sessions around your other life commitments.

Is it a full body workout?

Yes! The course is designed to hit every major muscle group in the body to give all over development. If you are in rehab or recovering from an injury, you can choose to skip exercises that don’t suit your situation. If this is the case, please feel free to drop us an email and we may be able to help you with an alternative.

Is there stretching?

Yes! There is a lot to focus on during the exercise routines and in the first few weeks we concentrate on exercise form and muscle function. Each exercise session starts with a low impact warm up to get the blood flowing before completing the full body routine. We introduce stretching between each exercise to improve posture, range of movement and flexibility. Each stretch is focused on a specific muscle group.

Is it all weights?

This is an exercise routine that focuses on resistance bands and body weight movements. There are two aspects of the training – the resistance aspect that focuses on strength, muscle tone, posture and muscle function. The other aspect is that of cardio vascular exercise. This focuses on fat burning and each of these activities complement each other for all round fitness development.

Don’t worry! We start off nice and gently and as we get stronger and more developed, we turn the dial up a bit for more fitness progression.

Is it OK for my fitness level / medical condition?

We always advise that you check with your doctor or physio before undertaking any exercise. This is a beginner routine and we can adapt for specific conditions but it is best to ask your doctor first. Here are the exact words that you need to ask your doctor before you start – “Is it advisable for me to start doing some resistance and cardio training at home and is there any movements or methods of training that I should avoid or be particularly careful about?”.
